This is what people aren’t talking about-the bigger picture here is that the DOJ “went there” at all. This level of corruption of the DOJ’s core values cannot be excised surgically. We ARE going to need to amputate that whole dept more or less and rebuild it

She couldn’t even turn around and look at them which is the very least she could’ve done. Madeline Albright was right, there is a special place in hell for women who don’t support other women-especially in times like this.

Vote Blue to impeach Bondi, who is so without human decency that apologizing to the victims is beyond her abilities.
Jayapal asks Epstein survivors in hearing room to stand and raise hands if they still haven't been able to meet with Bondi's DOJ. Every single one of them doe. Jayapal then gives Bondi an opportunity to apologize. She responds by trying to attack Jayapal and Merrick Garland but doesn't apologize.

Need to stress that, like the Pretti killing, this terrorism is happening in extremely mixed use residential neighborhoods. Cafes and restaurants just down the street. The St. Paul Curling Club that's put out so many Olympians competing *this week* is like two blocks away.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

The fifth should NOT
Apply to these criminals.
MUST WATCH: Epstein and Maxwell, 16 years apart, both invoked the Fifth when asked directly about Donald Trump.

I am regularly asked what specifically blue states and Congress should do to protect the midterm elections.

Here you go, I list and explain them one by one.

It’s not too late for states and Congress to stop Trump from subverting the midterms
With only nine months before the midterm elections, Trump is plotting to prevent Democrats from taking control of Congress.

The Speech and Debate Clause should protect any Senator or Representative from just reading those names on the house floor
In the least shocking news ever, the DOJ illegally redacted Trump's name from manyEpstein files. [And of course that doesn't count the ones they just didn't release because they are about Trump]

Lutnick: "I have no idea about that whole thing"

New Weather West update is out now! Some relief, at last, from recent record warmth and astonishing lack of Mountain West snow in the coming days as cooler/wetter pattern returns. But just how much relief should we expect? Read more:
After a long, dry, and very warm January, a cooler & wetter pattern will return to the U.S. West, with partial relief amid record-low mountain snowpack - Weather West
Record warm winter-to-date continues across most of the American West; already abysmal mountain snowpack dips to record low levels in many areas (except...higher elevations in southern Sierra!) Well, it sure has been a winter to remember thus far across the Western U.S. Astonishing, record-breaking warmth has pervaded nearly entire region (with few exceptions, though one

Although he wins both groups, @roycoopernc.bsky.social is strongest among voters who were born in North Carolina: an 11-point margin.

Cooper wins among transplants as well, but the margin is a lot narrower.

My 5-yo asked what "ICE out" meant. "People want Trump's police to leave our state."
"I heard there are men taking people away. Are those Donald Trump's police?" "Yes."
"Were all those people outside on TV because of this?" "Yes."
"... Is that why [Classmate] doesn't come to school anymore?"

Fuck.
