Does anyone else have a dog that hates discordant music, or suspenseful music? Any time a TV show or movie plays something non-melodic, or foreboding, Bear will woof, even waking up from her naps to voice her opinion.

I would like to introduce you to Bear. Bear is a 12 1/2 week old chocolate cocker spaniel, with some splashes of creamy white on her face, chin, chest & a couple paws. She is absolutely adorable. She is so, so sweet. It feels like joy has returned to the house!

8 years ago today, our former neighbor, Stan, visited our house for Thanksgiving, over a year after his people moved a few hours away. It was very fun for Cocoa to get to see her best friend again. Moments between Cocoa and Stan will always be some of my favorite memories of Cocoa.

We had to say goodbye to Cocoa today. I am in a complete state of shock. She was the best girl, and I thought we still had more time with her. She will be so, so missed. I'm glad that she knew how much she was loved.

I'm starting each new social media site...& there have been a lot lately...with a picture of Cocoa. She is my 12-year old chocolate cocker spaniel, who may also be part woolly mammoth. Of course, she looked less woolly the next day, after a haircut, but will be back to maximum fluff in 2 months.
