We support Starbucks @sbworkersunited.org baristas, who are taking a stand against corporate greed and union-busting.

All 15 million members of America’s unions are in solidarity with Starbucks workers as they fight for a fair contract!

It was great to join state federation and central labor council organizers today for our Frontline Solidarity Convening. America’s unions are continuing to organize and mobilize - so we’re ready to defend all of our union siblings, regardless of immigration status.

Congrats to workers at the 9:30 Club, the Atlantis and Lincoln Theatre who joined UNITE HERE Local 25 after receiving voluntary recognition! And we stand with workers doing the same with @iatse.bsky.social.

Workers are vital to D.C.’s music venues, and they’re #BetterInAUnion!

It was great to join For The Long Term for their D.C. Forum. When we come together and invest our pensions in smart and prudent ways, we can solve workers’ biggest challenges — from housing, to infrastructure and more — while providing for a secure retirement for all.

President Rick Levy has been a champion for working people his entire career. His impact is immeasurable and working families will live better lives because of his leadership.

We're grateful for his service to our labor movement and congratulate him on his retirement!
“The number one job of an organizer is to organize yourself out of a job.”

Rick’s work as Texas AFL-CIO President is done, and he’s passing on the baton.

As Leonard and Lorraine step in to lead, Rick knows the Texas labor movement is in capable hands.

Solidarity forever! ✊🏽

America’s unions stand with @sbworkersunited.org today as they strike at corporate stores across the country.

We urge CEO Brian Niccol and Starbucks corporate executives to do right by the workers and negotiate a long-overdue fair contract. https://bit.ly/4qZkRnP

I’ve stood with @apwu.bsky.social President Mark Dimondstein in collective bargaining fights and at rallies. He’s a champion not just for postal workers but ALL workers.

It’s been an honor to work with him. I look forward to working with President Smith to fight for postal workers!

As the holidays approach, please remember the people who work tirelessly to make the holidays happen for everyone across the country. Like all workers, they should be able to feel safe on the job and be treated with dignity and respect.
As the holiday shopping season is underway, the RWDSU issued the following statement urging workers be treated with dignity and respect from in-store shopping to e-commerce warehousing, from farm to table and everything in between: nycclc.org/news/holiday...

I’m thinking about my dad today on #VeteransDay — a proud Vietnam veteran of the Marine Corps. When he came home, a union apprenticeship put him on the path to a good job.

The Trump administration is canceling infrastructure projects across the country, raising our energy bills and locking thousands of workers out of the jobs.

It’s an attack on working families across the country.

Our message to the Trump administration is simple:

Enough is enough.

Fund the government.
Fix the mounting health care crisis.
Put working people first.
The Trump shutdown is now the longest EVER. Federal workers are locked out of their jobs or working without pay. Health insurance costs and prices on everything are spiking. Everyone is feeling the pain.

Fund the government.
Fix the health care crisis.
Put working people first.

42 MILLION people rely on SNAP food assistance.

Working families are already struggling to make ends meet. They aren’t pawns in political games, and they shouldn’t go hungry because the Trump administration refuses to fix the mounting health care crisis. https://nyti.ms/47Mt31S

I’m in New Jersey with union volunteers getting out the vote for pro-worker candidates all across the state. As my friend, @NJAFLCIO President Charlie Wowkanech says, “Our unions turn out in record numbers to do the work!”

Getting out the vote is one of the most uplifting things you can do as a union member, knocking on doors, making phone calls, and letting other union members know about the candidates who stand with workers. #ElectionDay
