I admit to being somewhat flummuxed by the new campaign managers surname - Outhouse. Not a common name, but certainly describes the behaviour of the Party rather aptly.

I think there's a difference between "leave country where we'd already established a presence, esp country that's known for incredibly oppressive status quo toward women & terrorism breeding ground" and "start a brand new war for no apparent reason at all"

Unless there's data that says people who didn't vote had a particular anti-trans bias, I'll go with the data we have-including exit polling in VA in this year's election where "Only 7 percent of Virginians picked transgender issues as a top concern" when Earle-Sears tried to make it a big issue
