Kaveh does figure out a solution, for the record. I wouldn't blue-ball Alhaitham or the readers like that (although I suppose that *would* be fitting, for No Nut November 😂)

(Whoops. Just now realized that I accidentally deleted the quote mark after "earpieces" when I was editing. Fortunately I'm doing one more round of proofreading after this current round of edits, lol.)

I've been out of the loop and hadn't heard about the guidelines until now, so I'm not a great source of information—but some problems here are: • Depictions of BDSM will be misinterpreted • Bluesky is equating fictional content to real-world crimes • Content moderation is very subjective

…the guidelines were originally introduced several months ago, and then Bluesky (deservedly) received a lot of negative feedback—so now they've slightly edited the new guidelines to make the wording clearer, but the underlying policies remain the same. (2/3)

It's more aimed at artists than writers, I think, but: Bluesky is implementing some community guidelines that are rather restrictive w/ how they require (fictional!) NSFW content to demonstrate that everything being portrayed is undeniably consensual. From what I understand… (1/3)

Utterly asinine policy-making, and your team (or at least the majority of your team) clearly doesn't know how to properly collect or comprehend feedback. I'm barely using Twitter anymore, but this nearly cements my decision to not use Bluesky, either. You're taking your userbase for granted.
