This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Not every idea is worth airing. Not every point of view is worth hearing. Not everything that "a lot of people believe" should be credentialed by homepage space. Would the NYT editorial board run "Did Homosexuals Ruin Culture?" or "Did Black People Get Too Big for Their Britches?" I guess we'll see.

TV writing is such a brutal business that we can’t help feeling a weensy bit of schadenfreude when a super successful person’s show bombs. But maybe let’s not throw a party? After all, hundreds of talented people worked their asses off and got paid during a terrible time…and that’s NOT nothing ❤️
