Plz bring them home! My heart breaks. Liam is the face of all of the children rounded up, caged and neglected. Their families —- Liam ‘s father looks like a very young man — not much past a child himself.
This is such sick shit! Please Ms Jasmine BRING THEM HOME. Thank you for going. 😭😭😭😭

Liam is in ICE custody and his health is deteriorating.

Joaquin Castro says Liam is depressed, lethargic, sleeping excessively and barely eating, repeatedly asking about his mom, and when he can go home. He’s withdrawn and not the bright preschooler he was just days ago.

Today, Rep. Castro and I visited precious Liam and his father, Adrian, at the Dilley Detention Center.

My heart absolutely breaks for Liam, his family, and every person being wrongfully detained.

Jasmine Crockett & Joaquin Castro went to see Liam Ramos. After posting an image of him lying prone in his father’s arms, Crockett said, “He was lethargic. He was never alert the entire time that we were there. I was very concerned about his health.” 💔

This is totally incredible!
Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

📚It's Library Shelfie Day!📚

Libraries are amazing spaces! It's important that we support our local libraries & the staff who work hard to ensure patrons have access to information & the services they provide.

It's also a dream come true to see Near Misses & Cowboy Kisses on library shelves.

I have not read this, but appreciate the recommendation. We are all horrified by what's happening in California.
For older readers, the middle grade FIRE ESCAPE by @jstremer.bsky.social is fascinating and informative, especially for kids worried about wildlife too.
