Because they engaged in this behaviour fundamentally in plain sight & their modus operandi is SUCH a betrayal. It undermines the actions of truly good people so now we can trust noone. There but for the grace of God - it could have been you! So scary. Sending remote hugs mate. 🫂

Don't buy anything with less than 200kw/hr DC charge capacity if long road trips are important to you. Frankly, many manufacturers need to do better. They're charging premium $$ for EVs with basic BMS capacity. For others, fast DC charging is standard.

Obviously. It is, however, an important consideration when buying an EV. Appallingly, some manufacturers are still putting out new EVs with stupidly slow Max DC charge rates. You rarely get max rate, so if battery can only take max 120kw/hr, you'll be lucky to get 80kw/hr.

An extraordinary man who was very troubled by bipolar disorder for much of his life. I recall seeing an interview with his children some time ago where they said things were either amazingly great or awful for him (and them as a consequence) yet they accepted his illness & loved the magic in-between
