i think the first shot in this fight was Knudson/Dickens Diverter

don’t go to public meetings, wait till project nearly complete, roads full of construction kit, Prairie Dog “what’s this, just asking questions”, demand removal

true fiscal responsibility

i used to dress her for specific paintings when we would go. was building a live letter to my little girl and art…

miss her terribly

it’s a wedge of Limburger Cheese it stinks so much

they have learned to not oppose at well publicized meetings & be a part of the process

nah just Prairie Dog & claim to be just asking questions after construction starts demanding it be ripped out by screaming bike lanes!

fiscally responsible?

Shaw will speak to being gifted in sports, rich, white, and how it is hell to live in the Hell Hole of danger at every turn Chicago where he would be mugged and killed every day if not for his lifted SUV…

classic non DEI stuff

Lily and I used to hit member hour every 4-6 weeks during Covid. we would even invite couples turned away because they were not members in with us.

those mornings will be treasured forever, the AIC is an amazing space

this fealty being pledged by transit, bike, pedestrians to not interrupt the flow of car traffic

and driver demand that they are the earners who deserve a QOL without being encumbered by other infra and are only ones due a safe quick commute so we will block anything that challenges it.

ugh
December 12, 2025 at 6:44 PM
it’s the dumbest of arguments and they focus on BIKE LANES not the Complete Streets aspect that builds Ped safety and Transit Efficiency too

bike lash is manufactured and lazy

saw that the other night, though cool! then after clearing security, like i was some sort of an evil teen, i realized that it was advertising… so gross
December 12, 2025 at 2:20 PM
ban e-bikes! keep em at 15 mph!

odd priorities
December 11, 2025 at 7:51 PM
good money after bad to showcase how horrible they want to be…

at least it’s not helicopters like Perón
December 10, 2025 at 8:28 PM
he claims the only reason infrastructure was built was that bike folks were organized and drivers were not prepared

sounds like he feels he has the rizz to take out infrastructure now, and seems pleased

Ald TK made a huge mistake removing the Diverter
December 10, 2025 at 8:26 PM
should be more often and spread throughout the city

miss you Bean

i like taking old advertising fonts you can’t find online and reimagine/build them into logos for me. fun exercise to hand draw, erase, draw again filling in the blanks of what i think the font would look like.

fonts are fun

we have folks concerned abt certain demographics, where wide roads induce speeding/crass, being unfairly ticketed who’s only real concern is they don’t want to worry abt speed 📸/road redesign for themselves & Retail Assoc that worries that Corps will be unfairly targeted, due to blocking bike/bus🚏

want to protect kids?

remove the tablet
build good transit, bike, pedestrian infra
regulate vehicle size
lower speed limits
build 3rd spaces

kids need to be given independence to learn independence and to play with their peers IRL to learn conflict resolution AKA let them have a childhood
