traveling last week had a Lyft driver who had not owned a car but had a friend tell him how much he was making, guy bought a car, does not make anywhere near what his buddy told him…

what gets me about these, and many, moves is that absent of declaring Trump a for life with succession plans and suspension of voting there will be moves back to efficiency. no industry can operate like this and will most likely stick to the standards in place

we rode our bikes to Lily’s memorial garden dedication. ran into SIL, drove 6 mile we meet at same cross street, i exclaimed we almost beat you. she said we got here 15 min ago, just had to find parking…

another friend missed the dedication due to a crash in DLSD

the care and slowness that vehicles are taking is prudent, especially those giant SUVs meant to tackle the great outdoors and anything thrown your way in comfort and “style”

a long while back I stumbled upon a private bar set up in Gold Coast brownstones basement that only had Strohs.

the demand by drivers that city planners have to take into account the storage of cars before housing for people, building of transit efficiency, and bike/pedestrian infrastructure

this will help transit be more efficient and bike lanes safer.

stinks we have to automate this because drivers take space that is allotted to other forms of transportation making busses slower and bike lanes less safe

daycare made a choice to not bring kiddos out for walks/play because of the current actions we are seeing after an abduction nearby… we are a nice neighbourhood

also new fear, being in a cross street when the same folks are fleeing with our neighbours

this is not normal

pushing a stroller, crossing street in crosswalk, lil man drops a block, i bend over to pick it up and almost get run over by driver who assumed i was going to keep walking and while no longer looking at me proceeded to turn left almost hitting me.

looked annoyed when he realized it and sped away

talking with a new mum at local coffee shop. she has taken up riding to work because it’s faster than a car or transit and the new bike infrastructure has made her feel more confident
