I guess with the major influx of new people exiting the bad place I should share what I do! I make animals! Felt animal portraits, animal ornaments, animalpatches, animal stickers, custom pet portraits. All animals all the time! 🐡 But I mostly post about my cats and knitting 🧶
I had to make a work call to schedule a maintenance appointment and I got stuck talking to an AI receptionist and that was the most disconcerting uncomfortable phone call I think I've ever had.

How cute are these decorations for our booth?!? 😍
Aren't gonna hold up super well since they're paper glued to cardboard but they'll do for our event this weekend!
Wanted to use study materials & paint them but didn't have the time. At least this way we can participate in the decorating contest!

Not sure how it's already day 10 of #ArtAdventCalendar, but here we are! Here's one of my little polymer clay crows. Each feather is cut and textured, and the crows are always brushed with chameleon powder for a little extra magic.

It's been 10-12 hour days since the Sun. after Thanksgiving but finally finished everything for our event this weekend. Well as much as we can. Lower on some animals than like to be but can only do so much in 2 weeks & also work full time. Gonna be so lazy Thurs. & Fri to charge up for the weekend!

Update: I've been using my fancy new hair dryer for a few weeks and it makes so much of a difference! Glad I finally caved and got one.
Whelp.
I've officially taken the next step in my journey of trying to treat my hair properly for having a loose curly pattern instead of straight and have bought a fancy high speed hair dryer and diffuser 😬 Glad I held out for those pre-black Friday prices!

We did it! Not bad for a weeks worth of worth! Especially considering this was all weekend work and after the day job.

Whelp I succumbed to the siren call of the afternoon couch nap so I didn't get much reading or knitting done on my afternoon break.
But I did have a lovely nap and Finn snuggled and napped with me the whole time so it was still good

Making good time on the 100+ bags of felt that needs assembly before our event next weekend. Got about 20-30 more to go in the next 7 days.
That feels doable so I'm taking a little knitting & reading break as a treat before I get back to it. I've missed my yarn 🧶
