Indiana Republicans back out on congressional redistricting, not because of some principled stance on knowing Hoosiers overwhelmingly reject it, but because they know it'll hurt their re-election chances. Don't ever mistake Republican shrewdness for principles.

There are no moderates on the right, and we need to stop pretending that there are. Resistance orgs like 50501 are spreading dangerous misinformation when they perpetuate this myth.
For the left, there’s a fracture between neoliberals and progressives.
For the right, it’s between Nazis and moderates.

I truly believe that myself, @tothatzoey.net and @joannawhaley.bsky.social are going to make the Midwest a place people can be proud to live and not escape, a true region of prosperity, and a place trans people can know they're safe in.
Earlier this week I officially submitted my paperwork for my campaign to be the 93rd district's next state representative. This district has been my home for my entire life, and not once have I contemplated leaving it.
