I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

Wrote about the shortcomings of anti-ai activism, what it can learn from past and present movements, and why we need to bring back shame as a tactic.

Saying “be peaceful! Trump is just looking for an excuse to use violence!” is such a disgusting way to spit on the bodies of those who have already been killed and maimed by ICE.

No exceptions. If you use Gen A I in any capacity whatsoever, you suck.

Yes, the way you're using it too. You're not special.

"She probably doesn't mean me"

I do.
I've seen some vocally anti-AI people recently make an anti-AI post and be surprised there are still pro-AI people following them, and I can explain this;

most pro-AI people think they are somehow the exception. the way THEY are using it, SURELY you would take no issue!

well, we do. so fuck off.

really feels like Becca Good saying “go get some lunch, big boy” is when he snapped. the kind of man who joins ICE is absolutely the kind of man who thinks women should die for saying things like that. they absolutely crash out when we aren’t cowering in fear and making them feel scary & powerful
To paraphrase Margaret Atwood…”men are afraid that women will laugh at them, women are afraid that men will kill them”

We told you all this would happen. If youre shocked by, voted for any of it, or surmise any excuse to handwave any of it then you are, simply put, never to be trusted b/c you never cared to begin with.

And I dont hope that sits on your soul. No…

I hope it weighs you into hell with an iron anchor.

the purpose of a system is what it does

ICE (and the police) have always been doing exactly what they're meant to. they're not making mistakes. this is what they are for.
“Well maybe they need training”

Fuck you. Go train your heart to be better or burn in hell. Simple as that

I stopped going to Starbucks when they had those Black dudes arrested in Philly for waiting for a friend in the lobby, but if you're still going this is the perfect opportunity to support local coffee shops if they go on strike.
Union baristas are calling on allies to STOP BUYING STARBUCKS if we go on ULP strike. If our communities stand with us in action, we can take back power from the billionaires & CEOs.

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Every time I see a person call themselves 'apolitical', my brain translates it to "my rights as a person aren't constantly up for debate and I don't care that yours are."
It’s telling that it’s mainly cis, straight, able-bodied people crying, “How dare someone lose their life over politics!” That reaction shows they’ve never had skin in the game. For them, politics is abstract. For the rest of us, politics is survival—how we navigate the world just to stay alive.

“There is no place for political violence in this country” say the politicians using legislation and rhetoric to attack trans people, immigrants, women and BIPOC daily. Just because it’s done with a pen and not a gun doesn’t mean it’s not political violence. Hypocrites. Not that they care.
