When I saw the "Heretic Prophet" subtitle for this, I was like 'oh, okay, of course.' I know lots of great folks work at Naughty Dog, but I simply do not trust Druckmann to tell a story about religion.

I think reducing Sphene to “unforgivable undeniable evil” is a disservice to an extremely interesting antagonist
She is a machine trapped by a horrible purpose with an impossible dilemma; of course she can’t answer graha’s question; she is programmed to push through with no other regard

The Lake House was a perfect addition to the FBC and Alan Wake mythos. it’s commentary on art and the treatment of artists is very poignant, and each document unraveling the tragedy of the Lake House was gripping.
