Another updated flyer - this time I've got 50 of them from Moo - and they look lovely. I may have to wander around my neighbourhood and post them everywhere at some point
How much should a website cost to set up?

How much should it cost per year to maintain and host?

I'd be interested in what people think is affordable these days.

We at lilacpixel.com set a guide price of £350 + VAT, then £130 + VAT annually.

Is that reasonable for a fully bespoke website?

Right then. It's mid-November and if you're thinking about #Christmas shopping, now's the time. All my products are designed here in Manchester and made in the UK.

You know what to do ...
It's been a very quiet week.
As a small business owner that’s a bit scary heading into my busy season.

So, if you're looking for unique #Christmas gifts, I make prints, homewares, cards & accessories inspired by midcentury design, music & architecture.

I have two pies in the fridge, so I went out to buy vegetables to go with- £2.50!

Those will keep me healthy for this week (pie, pie, corned beef, nothing, nothing, nothing).

Bit dull though. But healthy!

Car sold, to a lovely fellow.

Now to find another, cheaper one.

Perhaps a very old Jaguar?

Roll up, roll up get yer writing here!
Annoyingly nice website too.
My husband @mjowen174.bsky.social is very down.
He’s struggling to find any work at the moment.
He’s a brilliant writer and has written for Dangermouse, Private Eye and many more…

If you need a writer have a look at his website and please repost.

I am riddled as the tide:

Should I lie with death, my bride?

Welcome to BlueSky!
It's the Fesshole/Vagina Museum crossover event you've all been waiting for. Tons of you tagged us into this across all of our socials, asking for a fact-check. The consensus of the reply guys is that it Didn't Happen. However, this is in fact very possible. Here's why...

Oh do pay attention Bond. Now, this might look like a perfectly normal ball point pen, but by manipulating these controls it can write in FOUR different colours.

Pitch perfect.
Harry Enfield and Ronnie Corbett's "My Blackberry is not working" sketch. God, it's *exquisite*. Not a line out of place, everything works beautifully and there's some free Harry *almost* corpsing thrown in as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAG3...

My other endeavour ...
I thought I'd flog my DAT player and found some DAT tapes from the late 1990s containing some decent quality versions of stuff already out there. There were some new tunes, one or two of which I didn't recognise. So I thought I'd bung them all out on an album:

In the eighteenth century the rise of literacy precipitated the greatest transfer of knowledge into the hands of ordinary men and women in history and helped to destroy the old feudal order in Europe.

As literacy recedes a neo-feudal future looms.
