Yes! Find a protest, any cause that you believe in, and go. Took my 81 year old, WWII Latvian refugee father to his first ever protest today in support of Ukraine. He cried most of the rally. It was food for my soul.

In June of 1941, my great-uncle Paulis Ozols (#7) was arrested and tortured to death by the Russians occupying Latvia. His "crime" was speaking out against the communists in his role as the director of a dairy cooperative.

I had the honor of meeting the Latvian Ambassador to the US tonight, Elita Kuzma. 🇱🇻
She is concerned about Trump's stance on Ukraine. She said it shouldn't be "America First" but "America Not Alone." As the daughter of a Latvian WWII refugee, I too am concerned.
