Our government has been doing that and lying to us about it. Part of the reason for open fascism here now is the fact that people are waking up to what our govt has actually been doing and demanding they quit their bullshit. The rich people behind it all don't like that.

Most Americans despise orange 47 and every single thing he's doing. His tech billionaires interfered with the 2024 election to get him back in power and Biden and Harris chose not to address that. This is an ultra rich person problem, not an American people problem.

The essence of their issues is that they're hateful, deliberately ignorant people who have a pathological need to see people who aren't like them suffer.

There are A LOT of very lefty people living in red states. These states are all gerrymandered like you wouldn't believe, and I know my state has been basically abandoned by the Dems. They don't even try. That's now Mike Johnson won last time he was up for election.
