Duel is on Prime in the UK. If you’ve never seen it and love Jaws, I highly recommend it! Spielberg’s talents are undeniable.

Clash of the Comics is bonkers. But a laugh and that’s the point. Seemingly everyone is in it!

I’m weak. I caved. And I have no regrets.

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you?

Phew...

I don’t think you decry the doofus dad trope as a challenge to masculinity when this is on your Wikipedia.

Judge Dredd Megazine 486 is out today!

Featuring Armitage: Drokk The Ripper Part 2 by me, @stazjohnson.bsky.social, Quinton Winter and Annie Parkhouse.

An old flame of Armitage’s has been accused of murder and now he’s done the unexpected… Booked leave.

Available in all good comic stores…

Coincidentally watched both these films a week apart, and I have to say, there’s a lot of similarities…

Couldn’t go to TB because of writing commitments but now enjoying a family night of comics instead. We are really digging @idwpublishing.com’s My Little Pony line, especially this noirish little tale.

This weekend’s double bill!

Got the chance to hang out in Malta Comics last week and couldn't recommend it more! The team treated me and my family like old friends and their selection of books is fantastic. If you find yourself in Malta, get yourself down. I managed to score two books I've been after for a long time.

Finally finished Death Stranding 2’s story. Utterly bonkers in the best way with a ton of heart too. Can’t wait to see what Kojima does next and I might even push through for the Platinum now.

For me? Martin Short as Dracula and Steve Martin as Val Helsing.

Fun game for the spooky period, recast scenery-chewing Gary Oldman’s Dracula and Anthony Hopkins’s Val Helsing from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Oh man, I was busy yesterday and I thought people were just posting Drew Struzan art for fun. His art defined my childhood and the first thing I did when I got my own place was hang and frame these two posters (alongside a A New Hope one). Still got them up two moves later.

Out today! Judge Dread Magazine 485, including a new Armitage story scripted by me, art by @stazjohnson.bsky.social, colours by Quinton Winter and letters by Annie Parkhouse.

There's a serial killer loose in Brit-Cit and everyone's favourite curmudgeon is on strict orders to keep clear...

Finally started Ironheart. Only watched episode 1 but it’s off to a strong start! It’s really got itself a voice and The Hood is one of my favourite Marvel villains, great to see him in Live Action. It’s a bit weird all the Tony Stark references sound like he’s alive though.

Watched Enchanted today and, spoilers for a near 20 year old film, Idina Menzel’s character marries the Prince at the end. So does that make her the only actress to play two different Disney Princesses?
Not counting using actresses for multiple singing roles here.

I think it's become fairly obvious to the readers of the Megazine, that our ongoing Armitage tale (new story starts this month in #485!) is all about AI and the workforce. About purpose and drive. Last night I was hit by a bolt of inspiration of the story I now want to tell about AI and creativity.

Hell of a cliffhanger to tonight’s reading. We immediately had to start book ten.

My kid wouldn’t leave the shop without buying me these. Yes. Just yes.

Alan’s back! Two episodes in and it’s good stuff.

Confession, I wasn’t really ‘getting’ Assorted Crisis Events at all… And then I read #3 and #4 and they might both be two of best single issues I’ve read in years. Just incredible! Now to reread #1 and #2 as clearly I was in the wrong headspace.

I was that kid who was always like “A pub lunch sounds lovely. Let me just go pack twelve filofaxes to keep me entertained.”
