Good morning.

This is your reminder to get to the gym so that you can beat up racists if you have to.

this post singlehandedly got me to go to the gym today
Strength training is political. We have a right-wing which has taken over physical fitness spaces, and hijacked “warrior culture”.

We need a muscular progressivist visions. We need to be strong to build the world we want.

every time someone honks at me for patiently waiting to proceed when it's safe, I wonder if they just want me to drive into traffic

This person is one hundred percent correct and it’s scary af. We will never “media literacy” our way out of this as a society. We are about to reap the whirlwind when it comes to misinformation, disinformation, and informational warfare.

YEG election thoughts: I've voted in every election - municipal, provincial, federal - since I turned 18. My parents were not citizens of their country and didn't have the right to vote (not that they could've, because that country is a dictatorship).

I think of them every time I vote.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

Give folks their flowers

No, I mean right now. Go tell someone you loved their work right now. They're on social media just say it, it has never been easier

"They know how much people love--" no they don't go say it right now to a composer or artist or game dev or writer or anyone AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

admittedly I haven't watched a ton of PTA films - I couldn't get through TWBB, as acclaimed as it is - but I LOVED One Battle After Another. Highly recommend seeing it on the big screen!

Hi Internet! I'm Drew and THIS IS MY FACE.

If this GIF has ever brought you joy in the past, I humbly ask you to consider making a donation to the National MS Society. It would mean a lot to me and to those I know affected by the disease!

lol @ my acquaintance who's going to the US in Oct for a music festival because they've already spent a bunch of money & "wouldn't want to lose out on 100s of dollars"

I mean the non-zero chance of getting thrown into ICE jail isn't worth the risk to me but we're all allowed to make bad decisions 🤷🏻‍♀️
