Watched Pulse the other night. Didn't have text at the beginning. When stuff started happening I said "is there a grudge?" but there wasn't, it was other stuff. That's how you make a movie, keep the audience on their toes.
There's text at the beginning saying "Ah when there's a grudge it haunts the place and everyone who goes there". Then it shows you a place that's haunted, and how everyone who goes there gets haunted. And it's because there was a grudge there.
