Norwegian childfree crazy cat lady, married to a crazy dog man, trying to cope with chronic pain, hobbies, being a functional adult, moving twice a week, crafting, reading, gardening, lego, and too many buildings/projects/investments to manage with sanity!
My indoor bell pepper-garden has gone very well, and a whooping 10 of them were ripe and ready to use now! Today: crockpot with pasta sauce, a bit of chili, spicy sausages and strips of pepper. Served with fusilli pasta, for scooping up the most sauce! Cook on high for +2h.

Saw a question on FB, "Which alien species would you most want to encounter". First I thought Denobulans (Dr Phlox, Star Trek Enterprise), they seem so nice and open. But of course, it would be Tribbles 😀 Soft and fluffy, doesn't bite. Perfect alien species/pet!

I've had a nice weekend, meeting people and doing a bit of shopping in Oslo =) But of course, no trip is complete without great food! The amazing Caesar salad is from a burger joint (sorry, not sorry) and afternoon tea the day after with @sknetti.bsky.social and her mini-me!

Pigeons in Oslo yesterday. A lady was feeding them, and picked up a couple that had injuries. She stuffed them in her backpack, probably to take home or to the vet. They obviously knew the drill, because they came in from all directions when she showed up!

Work in progress update from our forever-but-not-right-now home. It was decided today that the chimney has to go, so that's an added piece of "fun". We think we can get the demolition work squeezed in between Friendsgiving and Christmas. Good thing I'm not planning to do a lot of Christmas baking!

The Winter Tree is up! Not a #Christmas / #Yule tree, the ornaments are mostly snow, star, cat, wildlife and Nightmare Before Christmas themed. Lots of it is hand made by me. I usually set it up at the first snow, often late October, but no snow yet, so I'm cheating. I take it down in mid January.

Work is still ongoing at our house. The roof on the old part is being raised and made bigger, so it looks like it is one and not two houses that has crashed. Now we have found another issue, our chimney can't be raised. So... what to do? Demolish it, two floors + attic, and then what? Ugh.

It's been a lazy Sunday. Rufus and his big fan club (Mochi) had a long snooze on the sofa at home, before we moved to the exile-house again. You can really see the size difference between a MC and a regular cat.
