Oh yeah, OpenAI has been cooking.

Rumors of RSS's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Look at all these big beautiful feeds. Everything I've tried has worked. Bless the webdevs keeping the dream alive.

> Procrastination is ok. You just need to harness it to productive ends.

All right smart guy. How do I harness endlessly doom scrolling social media to productive ends?

Tabarrok: In this post I will argue that the truth of the lab leak hypothesis does matter.

Cowen: In Haiti, I was robbed at gunpoint. Someone tried to steal my car. So I guess it wasn't so dangerous after all. The spicy macaw tripe was the best I've had. In line at the airport, I met Elvis.

You, a normie: I have no idea when to use o3-mini-high or o1.

Me, a connoisseur: the o3-mini-high is really more of a sativa. Very cerebral. Gets those creative juices flowing. o1 is more of a body high. Couch locked, contemplating the universe.

I've been asked on several occasions why ReadIt.bot doesn't have an all-you-can-eat subscription option. It seems like many people don't know that all-you-can-eat subs are often a bad deal. The problem is that it's like a game of "split the check" where everyone sitting at your table is a stranger.

There's this common folk belief about type 2 diabetes that it's caused by eating too much sugar, but afaict that's not the mainstream view among people who actually research it. The mainstream view is that it's caused by excess calories, fat (especially visceral fat), and genetics.

The key to a great dinner party is to send out a list of topics beforehand and moderate a single conversation? Idk I just scored 22 on that autism quiz and this is too autistic even for me.
March 23, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Lmaooooo I didn't even think I was answering that autistically. But I guess that's exactly what an autist would say.

I think I've developed some sort of neck injury from reading on my phone too much. Clearly, a life of the mind has taken its toll (scrolling shit posts for 8 hours a day).

A tagging service that tags duplicates tweets with the original. Is this something?

A blocklist for blockers that don't block themselves.
wait, am I understanding correctly that someone can’t put you on a blocklist if you’ve blocked them?

so, like, could someone just make a blocklist blocklist, blocking all blocklists except their own, and then have a blocklist-free experience?

who blocks the blockers?
