Just like an encyclopaedia - full of random knowledge and good at holding doors open. Socials are predominantly my cat, sports and random ramblings of Football Manager, Australian women's soccer, and how good the Victorian High Country is.
Good to see the A-Leagues posting about the Dub being playable on Football Manager for the first time ever.

The game itself has had.... mixed reactions, especially from the long time playing community, but I am so excited to finally play as Canberra United on a football video game.

Adelaide and Fremantle can do the funniest thing here and draw, meaning they both qualify for finals and knock out West Coast.

Love you Canberra United but a centre back with the #11 shirt? Utter woke nonsense.

A Palace win, clean sheet and both Ellie and Sam scoring? What a night.

Good to see Liam Gallagher doing his best impression of Jimmy Barnes in his memeable screaming in the sky.

Great show.

Found this an interesting interview and the comments by Freier. At first I read it that she felt unsupported by Wolfsburg but on a second read, it reads like a pretty switched on person who realised that things weren't right for her, and then wanted to get back to where she felt right.

Fair Play.

The CommBank Matildas star is back at the Roar on loan from German giants VfL Wolsfburg with one clear objective after a challenging stint abroad.

Updated #Matildas depth based on the recent October window against Wales and England

- Kennedy drops down a few. Personally gives Rule a late opportunity to make the Asian Cup squad if picked
- still think Grant is the first choice at left back with Catley needing to be central

Thoughts?

Confirmed ACL for Michelle Agyemang. Didn't look good when it happened and unfortunately it's the dreaded ACL.

Absolute shame

Fastest players in the Dub according to #FM26? Lara Gooch with a 16!
October 30, 2025 at 9:52 AM
The quandary of Sarah Hunter not getting minutes at Paris FC has been solved with Sydney FC announcing her return.

Good for the Dub, but a shame her experience didn't go as well as we hoped.

Best finisher in the Dub according to FM26?
Melina Ayers with 17/20. Solid choice

Gonna load up #FM26 later this evening and compile the highest rated A-League Women players by certain attributes.

So what attributes are you interested in seeing who #FM26 considers the best to be in the Dub?

And heck, what's your prediction for:
- heading
- finishing
- pace
- aggression

Especially after this morning's game, which I've only caught highlights of, but still holds true.

#Matildas #ENGvAUS
Tbh I wouldn't say no to a starting line up at the Asian Cup of Catley Hunt in CB and Heatley in the 6 role. That'll allow full backs, especially Ellie, to be more free pushing forward knowing those three can cover the counter.

Just caught up with the #Matildas game. My thoughts:
- formation good
- Wheeler/Kennedy as 6 to push KCC forward as a 8/10 - good
- Nevin two mistakes for Wales goal - not ideal
- Torpey is nowhere near an Ellie deputy
- Gorry - looks like an identity crisis of sorts, maybe bench time?

Kyah Simon got her first minutes for Dijon over the weekend. She came on in the 88th minute. Good to see her back on the pitch!

Kyah Simon has signed for Dijon in the French top league. Not bad to get back into a professional team when you've had around 800 minutes of football since the World Cup debacle.

Threw together a #Matildas squad depth tracker and I'm keen for any thoughts/changes.

Assumptions:
- 4-3-3 formation
- a player can be included in two positions (e.g. Heatley as CB and CDM)
- everyone is fit
- recently called up or if eligible (e.g. Kayla

Will adjust based on injuries/form

Good seam movement but gosh that's two bad decisions by the England openers there.

Of course Taylor Hinds, who repped England at youth level, then switched to Jamaica last year, got a cap in a friendly, and now has switched back to England, is able to do that under the current rules. But it just feels a bit dodgy.
NEWS 🗞️ | Sarina Wiegman has named a 25-player Lionesses squad for their upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Australia.

Katie Reid, Lucia Kendall + Taylor Hinds all receive their 1st call-ups.

Blindkilde Brown + Kearns return to the set up. Hemp, James + Williamson are missing through injury.

Part of a treat pack from the homeland. Solid flavour, not one of the OG McCoy's flavours, but still good. Still no Salt & Malt Vinegar tho.
