Just like an encyclopaedia - full of random knowledge and good at holding doors open. Socials are predominantly my cat, sports and random ramblings of Football Manager, Australian women's soccer, and how good the Victorian High Country is.

The game itself has had a massive UI overhaul that has gone down poorly with most of the player base.

There are lots of issues with it, personally. But am I still gonna play it as much as I can with a newborn so I can play as Canberra United? You betcha.

Have started a thread with Dub players
Good to see the A-Leagues posting about the Dub being playable on Football Manager for the first time ever.

The game itself has had.... mixed reactions, especially from the long time playing community, but I am so excited to finally play as Canberra United on a football video game.

We can't take the chance.
Adelaide and Fremantle can do the funniest thing here and draw, meaning they both qualify for finals and knock out West Coast.

Love you Canberra United but a centre back with the #11 shirt? Utter woke nonsense.

Yeahhhhhhh it's just been a shemozzle
A Palace win, clean sheet and both Ellie and Sam scoring? What a night.
Yeah meant the World Cup 😅
Obviously all speculation, but I really felt she was hot property and a huge domestic club, or a Barcelona/Lyon, post euros, and when the offers didn't come in, she's had to pivot a bit, especially when PSG aren't the same level as the big clubs.
Yeah and seeing a lot of her posts about her book and interviews right when England were playing in Euros felt a little off for me.
Interesting timing of an announcement after this.
Good to see Liam Gallagher doing his best impression of Jimmy Barnes in his memeable screaming in the sky.

Great show.

Found this an interesting interview and the comments by Freier. At first I read it that she felt unsupported by Wolfsburg but on a second read, it reads like a pretty switched on person who realised that things weren't right for her, and then wanted to get back to where she felt right.

Fair Play.
Why Sharn Freier is back in the A-Leagues after European ‘whirlwind’: ‘I found out quickly’
The CommBank Matildas star is back at the Roar on loan from German giants VfL Wolsfburg with one clear objective after a challenging stint abroad.

Updated #Matildas depth based on the recent October window against Wales and England

- Kennedy drops down a few. Personally gives Rule a late opportunity to make the Asian Cup squad if picked
- still think Grant is the first choice at left back with Catley needing to be central

Thoughts?
I really do think they are banking on the 'lifestyle' reasonings to keep players around. Because if I was any in their shoes, I wouldn't be hanging around on a part time contract when I can have full time contracts in 'lesser lifestyles'
