Ah yes, equivocating the success of the wealthiest to the success of the entire generation is totally reasonable and logical.

The Liberals fixation with Trump and "Trumpism" seems to stem from their utter misunderstanding of what western "rules based order" actually is. They believe fairy tales because they excuse any surfacing of reality as an exception.

“While the AI industry claims its models can “think,” “reason,” and “learn,” their supposed achievements rest on marketing hype and stolen intellectual labor. In reality, AI erodes academic freedom, weakens critical reading, and subordinates the pursuit of knowledge to corporate interests.”

None of this is inevitable. It is the result of powerful lobbies and poor decision-making.

Europe is doing its best to accommodate genocidal war criminals and not hurt their feelings. He said those things openly at a meeting where journalists were present, but doesn't like it when it is put out there unfiltered. Israelis can always rely on Western media to make them appealing after all.

You're not getting an FDR without the strongest labor movement America had ever seen. He had to cave into pressure from workers all around the country vecause they were organised and unified. The only alternative, if he had not taken extrem (by American standards) measures would have been revolution

Yes, labor productivity has been constantly rising. If wages EVER would have risen appropriately to productivity, you could buy a dozen shoes an hour today.
OK Wil’s point simplified. An e.g.

Back in the day a pair of shoes would cost a week’s wages. Let’s call it $1000

Today shoes are cheaper approx $100.

So today you could buy 10 pairs of shoes for a week’s wages.

Someone who can afford 10 pairs of shoes is richer than someone who can afford one.

These zones are deregulated corporate playgrounds. Communities pay for soaring bills, environmental devastation, with zero democratic say.
