A great—okay, more like C- —start. Now apologize for all your other bitchy attacks. Then, why don't you go ahead and preemptively apologize for all the deaths, wrongful arrests, and wrongful convictions and incarcerations you are welcoming with your agenda to get Black neighborhoods over-policed.

Absolutely! Let’s unseat him. Portland can do better!
I think the people of Portland deserve and expect something a lot better from Dan than this. I personally will be pushing to find who is going to run for his seat next election. He should resign immediately. We don't want his vote. We don't need bigots like him in government.

Not to mention that this manifestation of white fragility gets people killed. Do better, councilorzimmerman.bsky.social. I think it is you who lacks the temperament for public service. Public service is not for cowards, and should not be for bigots.

Dan Ryan lashing out is par for the course. He is always either smirking, making snide comments, or taking potshots at people who aren’t around to defend themselves.

FWIW, he also never does anything for ordinary citizens—just wants to siphon $ from everyday folks to give cops and his biz buddies.
Portland City Councilor Dan Ryan blamed the press after taking heat for choosing not to address the contents of a story published in the Mercury the day prior.
