I don't know the details, and the cynic would say that the Fifth Circuit will reverse. But it's possible! This case is different from the weak California case, where the GOP/DOJ (same thing) are alleging any use of race is unconstitutional, essentially seeking to undo the Voting Rights Act.

Republicans get in line and then, when the seat is open, nominate crazy conservatives.
Democrats quit the party and don't participate in the primary, then complain about the nominee and boycott the General Election.

People are ALWAYS willing to blame not their representative (even when it’s actually their representative’s fault). Dems should realize this and keep blaming Republicans (whose fault it is).

I remember seeing this then and thinking it would be perfect and that the concept would take off.
Printing, however, fell way behind (though a mobile printer would still be useful), and CPU/chips advance much faster than printers.
And the trackball is still the better pointer than these touchpads.

"Working" or "barely working" may be more accurate. Lots of dysfunction there too. Just much better in comparison.
