At some stage this year I think I’m going to try and build some Enzo Mari and/or Gerrit Rietveld furniture out of reclaimed pine from pallets. It is also likely I’m just obsessed with the idea now and won’t even pick up tools to get there.

At a screening of “The Brutalist” and have just hit the intermission. I couldn’t love this film more if I tried.

So, get this, I almost put a post up asking if anyone in Brisbane wanted to hang tomorrow arvo I’d probably be available then realised it was NYE & people would already have their stuff organised so I’ll probably go back to my parents in Ipswich where I currently live & do nothing. Haha, saddo.

Just wanted to revisit this and say a) thanks to all who have been in touch but also b) it’s my kids turn to have Christmas with their Nana, we did that year on year off, so no nasty business, just they way timing went. Just wanted to make sure it didn’t sound like I was being bitter. Just sad.
Hey, been quiet, still lonely. Got pedals for my bass recently, been mucking around with that. Still have a maybe project in the works next year. Facing first Christmas without my kids, so, that’s been fun. Also watching creek at back of parents as went under in 2011. Only came up to pool in 2022.
