Maybe we should join Denmark instead of trying to take over Greenland.
The U.S is the wealthiest country in the history of the world. We should not have the highest rate of child poverty of nearly every major country on earth. We should have the lowest.

It's time to end this international embarrassment & create an economy that works for all.

All that needs to be said. A little resistance in the Senate. Now we need more!
Thank you Senator @corybooker.com!

Everything needs to be taken seriously.
It’s not a joke. We need to take it seriously. This is the same man who repeatedly refused to commit to accepting the results of an election if he lost. People who were shocked when he made good on that in 2020 should not have been, and we must not be now. joycevance.substack.com/p/trumps-thi...

Everyone should need to do this! Maybe renew it every five years.
Not sure who needs to hear this, but to become a naturalized US citizen, an immigrant green card holder must ALREADY pass a high school level test on American history and civics.

Most native-born Americans would fail the test if they had to take it

I commented the other day on one of your posts about how Public Health is very difficult at the moment. Here is my latest Substack that explains more if you are interested. Thanks for all you do!
This is my latest Substack post. We should all be concerned about Public Health. I fear the measles outbreak is only the beginning.

BREAKING: DOGE is starting to put together a team to migrate the SSA's computer systems entirely off one of its oldest programming languages in a matter of months, potentially putting the integrity of the system—and the benefits on which tens of millions of Americans rely—at risk.
DOGE Plans to Rebuild SSA Codebase In Months, Risking Benefits and System Collapse
Social Security systems contain tens of millions of lines of code written in COBOL, an archaic programming language. Safely rewriting that code would take years—DOGE wants it done in months.

Absolutely. It has been his goal since day 1.
Martial Law.

It’s the elephant in the room.

It’s what authoritarians resort to when the tide turns against them.

It’s what the authoritarian in this White House is setting the stage for.

Navajo Code Talkers were instrumental in the United States and our allies winning World War II. Erasing their stories from military websites is a dishonor to their memories, our veterans, and beyond appalling.

Indigenous history is American history and we must remember the heroes who served.

The numbers are easy to understand.
Do you know why Americans are angry?

Over the last 50 years, real weekly wages have been stagnant.

At the same time, there was a $79 trillion transfer of wealth from the bottom 90% to the to the top 1%.

We need an economy that works for all, not just billionaires.

“If Columbia or another university confronts the administration on its own, it will lose. If America’s nearly 6,000 universities and colleges launch a campaign in defense of higher education, odds are that Trump will lose.”

Bravo!!!

The fiscal analysis is important. Is anyone keeping track of the overall cost of Trump’s golf outings?
Trump walks to Marine One to head to Mar-a-Lago to play golf on the taxpayers dime.

This trip will cost us $3.1 million, which could be used by USAID to feed 710 starving children for a full year.
March 15, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Brilliant.
I did not anticipate that so many leaders across industries and professions would allow fear to silence them.

Even worse than their silence in the face of Trump’s actions against our democracy is their silent complicity as they watch their peers be targeted, humiliated and punished.
