First up: scientists said it couldn't be done. But we put our logo on a scroll, and then got a mouse to hold it while riding a lobster.

Yes! I love to humidify with laundry in the winter here. It was definitely more of a “are my clothing going to dry or maybe grow mold instead?” situation the Bay Area.

This works for me now in Michigan. It took daaaays and sometimes things never quite felt dry when I lived in San Francisco.

Literally buying one copy of a book at your local indie bookstore can mean the difference in whether they buy future books from that author.

I believe bigfoots exist in the sense that people have seen them and they’re bears, but I don’t know anything plausible about yetis. (That said, I would have answered “no” to both if I had been polled.)

Ugh. I was hoping they’d maybe have experience with having this kind of conversation and could either lead it or give you some tips. That’s extremely unuseful of them.

That’s so tough. It took us years and tbh, by the time it happened (very recently) she really needs a much higher level of care. We’re kind of hoping the place she’s in now will be the ones to tell her this. I saw you said he’s now in the hospital? Is there a social worker there who could help?

This depends hugely on the personality (and memory status) of the person, but we basically had to Inception my MIL to get her to move. Repeating what a good idea it would be and how great everything that might seem appealing to her would be eventually made her think it was her own idea.
