Absolutely. I was referring to candidates from earlier on, all of whom have turned out to be nut cases - and yet, the message we kept getting (from the Democrats who voted for them) was that they were “reasonable.” I agree about primaries.

He drank the Koolaid, or whatever it is that has deluded these people. Not unlike the Covid patients who went on ventilators, and then to their graves, all the while insisting that Covid wasn’t real.
