I just worked with a substitute who didn’t really see why it was not good to have your middle school students put all their work through ai to make it an A paper. It was like she hadn’t really considered that what she was grading wasn’t actually their writing and hadn’t actually considered that

So my littlest boy who is ID, and non verbal just mentally checked out for 2.5 days. We don’t know why. He was sent home for wandering around bumping into things and we took him to urgent care and then the ER and he had progressively scarier and scarier tests all the while just staring

The trouble with found footage movies is that I’m positive that of them are made bc someone found a cool location and someone thought what can we make here rather then develop the story first and I can’t help think there when I watch

I’m a big fan of hot apple cider and so I thought, it’s pretty much just Apple juice with spices, heated up…what if we are sleeping on hot cranberry juice?

As it turns out, a week of standardized testing on Chromebooks a week after fall break and three weeks before winter break, was not actually a great idea. Hmmmm. Who would have thought?

I hate a matchy tree though I can appreciate a loose theme. Usually mine is a chaotic mix of gifted, sentimental, crafted and cherished ornaments and garlands. I go big. But my kid has pica, not too much impulse control, and a longer reach…so another year of basic tree.
