16 years ago today, a scappy team from little ol' Sioux Falls, South Dakota traveled all the way to the UK to play 3 derby bouts in 3 days, including London Roller Derby, who was so highly ranked that we knew it would be a blood bath.
But she showed up and gave it our all. Great memories 💜

This is a little silly, but it's a moment I LOVE in the movie HARD TARGET (1993).
After working over this guys, baddie Lance Henriksen casually washes the blood off his hands in the goldfish bowl. It's such a tiny thing that speaks volumes about him as a person.
What did it teach me? 1/2
