Wehhhh thank you. I don't think I could replicate it elsewhere; most of this was born from me noticing that the cats were shoving stuff off my nightstands to curl up there, or were perching in higher spots, and my bedroom is "dark cottagecore" themed so "forest nook" was kinda the go-to. :D

I think the only reason Gaia isn't up there is because she got boosters in both rear legs so jumping/stretching to get up is not a favoured activity.

It's 100% a budget line for them and a completely valid thing for you. Make sure you put some moisturizer on your nose to ease any chapping, and drink water to rehydrate. I hope the tears helped a little bit of the grief, but I'm sure it's still too big.

Alisaie remembers the hex shelves from my old place, so was the first one up (normally it would be Gaia, but she's trapped in quarantine downstairs) and is delighted by their return.
