Finally came in the mail today. Wish it had come sooner but now I can get away from the biblical level of snow we've recieved. Heading to the Caribbean next week! 🌴 🍹

This one is special to me. Since I began this hobby, I have seen some rare comets come and go but i've had terrible luck with clouds. As C/2025 A6 Lemmon approached earth, i noticed that it's closest approach would be on my birthday so I took it as a sign. Sure enough, if was clear!

Now in the brief Wolf Rayet phase, the hot, dense, exposed core is exciting those layers.

The Crescent Nebula. 5000 light years from Earth.
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, a red giant expelled its outer layers.
Now in the brief Wolf Rayet phase, the hot, dense, exposed core is exciting those layers.

4 nights of clear skies & no moonlight is rare. I was intending to photograph the Witches Broom but when I saw the forecast, I decided to make a two panel mosaic and include Pickerings Triangle.

I tore my achilles playing hockey last October and this rig is alot to lug around
Tonight's target is The West Veil Nebula. Enjoying a few drinks and snapping pics!
