“I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners”
UK Labour’s decision to not be a Remain party will surely go down as one of the great political errors of the last decade anywhere. Getting slated for a lack of economic growth while they have one hand tied behind their back.

I’m always fascinated that these articles re: planning objections rarely carry much detail as to what the nature of the objection(s) are and who precisely is doing the objection. There should be no expectation of privacy here.

As long as Bruno Fernandes is in the #MUFC team, we will never rise above the mediocre.

Maybe one of the dumbest mistakes I’ve seen at that level.

On the board, signed off the annual accounts, and was humble enough to allow the trust to be named after him. That’s three reasons why he should explain why he wasn’t paying more attention when taxpayers money was being squandered.

Does the Irish broadcast media still see Peter McVerry as an expert on all things Housing Strategy, Policy and implementation I wonder???
A Dáil committee has heard that a major homelessness charity used donors’ money to build an enclosure for peacocks. The Public Accounts Committee was told the Peter McVerry Trust had been “on the brink of collapse” before a government bailout two years ago.

“Commentator of the year” - Jesus wept 🤦‍♂️
It’s hard to read this stuff from doctors without cringing at how wildly out of touch it sounds (and how little self-awareness). £100k+ income is, to most of the public, beyond our dreams. Entitlement and class privilege is not the best way to win people over to your cause!

The only revelation left to us is that the federal grand jury didn't actually exist and DOJ prosecutors simply decided to pretend that it does.
🚨BREAKING: Federal prosecutors admitted Wednesday that the grand jury handling the criminal case against former FBI Director James Comey never reviewed or voted on the final indictment used to charge him — a virtually unprecedented revelation that could topple the entire case.
In Stunning Admission, DOJ Says Grand Jury Never Saw Indictment Against Comey

It’s really fascinating how people expect that a large complex sports organisation doesn’t want the random thoughts of every delegate splashed all over the newspapers. Incredible it lasted so long.

Another SF/SD/LAB/PBP sleeper in FG. Absolutely ridiculous that Irish political media continues to refer to FG as a “centre right” party. There’s nothing remotely centrist about them now.
New Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence Helen McEntee has said that the Occupied Territories Bill will be one of the very first things she will raise with her departmental officials when she meets them later today.

Is Simon Harris Ireland’s least qualified Finance Minister ever? Certainly the least qualified in 50odd years. Between him and financial novice Jack Chambers in the public expenditure portfolio we are entering into an extremely challenging phase with a very weak management group.

The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

No issue with that penalty but really wish Karl Dickson would referee both offside lines. Australia encroaching all night with no penalty whereas we’re being nitpicked off the park

Considering the insane reporting by the likes of Haberman and Co back in 2015/16, who on earth could be in the least bit surprised by this???
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

Insane the lack of media attention that this article is getting. If you replaced ‘Rowing Ireland’ with ‘FAI’ there’d be half a dozen Dáil committees saddling up and Prime Time etc. would be licking their lips.

Spoke to a guy working in a large Cork hospital recently and he told me two things:

1: the NTPF process has been engineered as an extraordinary gravy train i.e. if you just paid O/T you’d save millions.
2: there is no desire within Hospital management to change it
