This is what’s known as dodgy as fuck…

Farage is in hock to murky foreign billionaires, taking their money to prioritise their interests if they buy him power. He’s exploiting people’s racism and anger to pretend he’s on their side. But he’s already sold them out.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Private equity is looting our malls, doctors' offices, and nursing homes.

Heck, you name it, and private equity has probably already bought it.

Their scheme spares no one. I’m fighting to stop it.

1. I do despair of the BBC & it's inability to stand up for itself and defend its values. The truth is they don't seem to know what they believe anymore. The rot started decades ago with their insistence on the outdated "2 sides of a story equals impartiality" approach.

This is a very important story in the context of Nigel Farage’s publicly expressed - if apparently unconnected - admiration for Putin and other links with a regime that only wants to harm our country.

The UK’s statistics are in a mess. There are question marks over key figures, the ONS is underfunded and in crisis…do we even know how things are going any more? www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/busine...

I love how The Gilded Age brings in so many actors from The Good Wife/ Good Fight franchise. It feels like Christine Baranski & Audra McDonald sit in the dressing room and go " I know who'd be great for that role" and click their fingers

There appears to be no relationship between changes in employment in local areas and the number of workers on the minimum wage.

This is consistent with, if not evidence of, a lack of significant negative employment effects from recent minimum wage increases.
