I’ve been reporting for 2 years on a proposed federal rule to slow boats in order te save the critically endangered right whale.

Republicans and boating lobbyists spent millions to block the rule by running ads, overwhelming NOAA and running down the clock.

The health costs to restaurant workers of gas stoves are fantastically bad. Methane, CO2, CO, NOx, VOC pollution at dangerous levels even when vented, with constantly dangerous heat exposure equivalent to being outside in the worst heat waves. #agu24

I’m obviously frustrated with the constant allegation that the huge (and only one they can come up with) benefit of the US healthcare system is “not having to wait for services.” Are there any of you that have a story about having to wait to your health detriment for US healthcare? Please share.
