Back when I was practicing, I was picking a jury for a personal injury trial when I saw one of my lawprofs in the jury pool (state con law expert Robert Williams). He didn't get called into the box for voir dire though.

Okay, maybe more of a linguistic point here, but if I have a hot take, it's that "belief" means different things to different people and in different contexts.
