The tape from tesa is great. I used to get the red variant. But they seem to have discontinued it. This yellow stuff seems to be even better up to the job

Then i cleaned the inside thoroughly and replaced the backing of the mouth with a fresh one! Now it is fixed!

But i can fix this one by taking the inside of the mouth out and replacing it. It took me nearly an hour and a half. First i clean up the old back of the mouth

Previously i had put nfcs in i had either covered them in latex glue (the yellow stuff with solvents) and sandwiched it in between two layers of latex for the nfc i disolve out of the plastic using acetone.

There are US based companies that sell latex surely :) though maybe latex is not as popular as in europe :)

i make them and some have been put up for adoption. But i dont want to make any money of them. Just for the love of latex and the haj. But shipping anything across the pond to the usa is impossible right now anyway. if you know a latex crafter there is a pattern here www.johntaro.art/latex-patter...

I cut them down too but i have extra glued parts around the valve.
September 20, 2025 at 2:36 PM
They are pretty good . But they are a lot tougher to work with than the car tire valves. Also inflating and deflating takes a lot longer with the sportsball valves. Those stick out and in the area the hole is in makes them look kinda not wholesome.

Nope that would result in me getting flooded. I got too much stuff to do for work its gotta stay a hobby🫠
September 20, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Yep!
September 20, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Yep these are cut out by hand. Then lasered the hexes in, then glued into a suit
September 20, 2025 at 11:04 AM
Not much i have other suits that have more intense etchinga and they are fine. Just make sure you clean off the gunk after etching.

The damage is what the etching does. Its pretty minimal. And the effect is what i am after:) think of it as roughening up the outer layer . Cutting latex i do at 5-10mm/s and 70-90% power :)
