And the way TWS made it very obvious onscreen that one character/side in every fight is ruthlessly pursuing a KILL, and the other is trying to PROTECT/STOP, is not actually dissimilar to how you can convey through a sex scene what the characters want! You get me, right? You get me.

You could argue that every story is will-they-or-won't-they on some level. Will they [defeat the Empire] [survive the shipwreck] [solve the mystery] [find redemption]? And you mostly know they're gonna, but *how* the writer answers that is the craft (and also the part AI is never gonna grasp).
