80% gynecological oncologist Västerås 🇸🇪. 20% HTA-unit Camtö Örebro Hospital. Views my own. Too dumb and lazy for doing research but interested how to evaluate medical research&evidence.
Words matter. Dislike lifscience like QoL&D engl, swed, germ
Tack för mycket intressant läsning. Om evidenssökning baserat på PICO visar kunskapsluckor ingår även frågan om en klinisk studie kan minska på osäkerheten?

Its an art to be so stringent and so clear with such limited amounts of words. Just found this one from 2010 through googling Alains name. Is "T2A" still in work in France?. www.bmj.com/content/340/...

Superintresting and learnfull text which shows how challenging research and triangulation of evidence are. My respect that you wrote the whole text without using the Danish ø

Good study which contributes to informed decision making of women when choosing contraceptives. But also an example of failed communication of research findings in the 🇸🇪 media. A school-book example imo where it should be forbidden to use relative risks and mandatory with absolute risk.
Both combined and progestin-only contraceptives are linked to increased breast cancer risk, with greater risk observed for progestin-only, particularly desogestrel-containing products. ja.ma/47lXKLe

Thanks to BMJ's Open peer-review fascinating to read that there was a considerable effort of peer-review invested into this trial before publication
