That makes it even worse. They're selling an imaginary result. I'd respect it more if it were someone who can say Tai Chi contributed to his physique...which, by the way, it can. But that's not why people go there. At least none of the ones I've ever worked with.

Don't know your neighbor. But it's been my experience these people call it a joke until they find someone to buy into it with them. Then it's their truism.
