I haven’t posted in ages (illness/injury/crap Weather) and I’m worried I’ll get out of the habit so, until I get out walking again, I’m going to post at least once a day until I get back outside).

So I haven’t been doing many walks recently as I took a bit to the head and signed up for the London Marathon. Anyway, the fear hit recently and I’ve started to actually train. Had my first outdoor run today at St Helens park run. Nearly died for an awful time, but, it’s a start!

St Helens. Most of the picture is dominated by the Pilkington glass works. Once the major employer in the town and covering a huge area. You can also see their now abandoned offices in the background (they’re still used for TV filming).
