With the TKO/WWE philosophy of less is more, #RoyalRumble has gone from "anything can happen!" to "about four things happen".
The Rumble needs to seem chaotic, electric and exhilarating. The vibe changed. Not for the better.
It's fine. Rumbles shouldn't be just "fine".

Been a wrestling fan since 1987 and this is the first Survivor Series I’ll be entirely skipping. The company’s politics are too gross, the prices are too high, and the show too pared down. Plus, alternatives are considerably better. It’s a shame.

If anything, Bobby Lashley is a better pro wrestler now than he was in his prime. More confident promo. More deliberate in the ring.
He doesn't get enough credit, IMHO.
