I captured this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly on my pink phlox blooms yesterday. It’s a refreshingly cool 12° now, heading for the upper 20s under sunny skies, low humidity and good air quality. The breeze will be variable around 15km/h. Low 14°, but turning hot/humid Sat at 33°.

I can’t stop reading. I’m in to Joan Didion’s “the year of magical thinking.” I never met her, but I was pals w her brother-in-law, Nick Dunne. At one point, I had it in my will that he’d eulogize me if he were to outlive me!!! True story. Are u guys old enough to remember the great Dominick Dunne?
