I had to stay up all night for a mostly passive work obligation, so I passed the time by revisiting Okami. I almost never get the urge to play it, even though every time I do it has an uncanny, instant restorative effect on my soul. I can't think of another game that's as joyous an escape.

So yeah I beat Neon Inferno on Medium and it's very good. More nuanced opinions forthcoming. Two important things not covered in the tutorial:
1. L2 locks your shot direction in place so you can run around while shooting
2. R2 locks you in place so you can shoot in various directions without moving

For Scream 8 the killers should be revealed to be Paul and Ringo, who then unveil brand new Beatles material onscreen. Also Shatner should show up carrying a kitchen knife and wearing a mask of his own face, and fill in for John. George could be I dunno, Neve Campbell.

They replaced a bunch of the parking meters in town with spaces you have to pay for through a crappy app that doesn't work properly and asks for all your personal info and charges you $0.75/15 min., which is how long it takes to pay for your space. I can feel my blood radicalizing in real time.

Man, I just watched the original Twilight Zone ep "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" for the first time. Maybe this is stating the obvious, but compared to the movie remake, it reads a lot more clearly like a war PTSD analog.
