Starbucks is closing stores and cutting 900 jobs in a restructuring move.
1,100 jobs were slashed earlier this year.
Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

Remember when we had mask mandates to try to stop Covid spread & rightwing folks, including many 👮 👮 claimed it wasn’t safe to inhale your breath and they could not do strenuous tasks wearing masks? How is it they can wear masks to “patrol” and “arrest” (i.e.?terrorize people) right now? 🤷🏽♀️

I keep listening to Ta-Nehisi Coates on the Ezra Klein show trying to figure out how he stayed so calm. At the 20 minute mark EK is so condescending I would have had to take a break & do some deep breathing to avoid saying “fuck you.” Ta-Nehisi and I are the same age but he’s growner than me.
