There's a whole spectrum of music-making already for people who don't want to get into the nitty gritty.
There's DJ mixing/mashups, there's sequencers, sample libraries, loop libraries, drum machines, etc. etc. you can already go hog wild with all that stuff.

There's even a bunch of stuff out there that you ARE allowed to paste into your work for non-commercial and commercial purposes!
Like, this stuff is already out there for people who don't want to put the hours in. Artists often share it, sometimes for free, to help other people out.

pretty sure if you buy a Casio keyboard there's like a bank of 100 songs that play for you when you press a button. all sorts of genres, too.

fwiw I don't have high hopes that this will actually come to fruition in all its glory here, but even if this was just purely an art project as a hypothetical, it's a really fun video.
