Nearby. Snohomish River has exceeded its all-time flood level by half a foot. Stillaguamish River crested one foot below its all-time flood level. Skagit River is rising and on track to exceed its all-time flood record by over two feet. Evacuations ordered in Skagit River 100-year floodplain.

White-winged scoter, eating a clam (including its shell), in Semiahmoo Bay, Washington. The shell gets crushed by their gizzards, and then passes through their digestive system. I have also seen surf scoters eating clams whole.
